Wass muss muss is the first best of for Herbert Groenemeyer. A career which for any artist can only be described as truly remarkable. Congratulations to Herbert and his great team for their fine work.
I was happy to be asked to do the remix for Herbert Groenemeyer's new single 'Glueck'. The funny thing is this may be a first regarding how it was made.... Due to the complex nature of the special edition of the album, the deadline for the USB stick, which the remix is a part of, was far ahead of the deadline for the other formats. This meant that the remix had to be finished before the single was even recorded!!!! Mr Groenemeyer kindly came to the studio and added his first lyric ideas and played the pianos tracks. Thats why some of the lyrics are different from the single version. Strange but true.
New single for summer 2008.
Out now !!
Work has finally finished on the New Groenemeyer album and I'm very excited to see how the follow up to 'Mensch' will be received. I really rate this work as some of Herberts best and we were blessed with some of the finest musicians around. So now its time to put on its best clothes, come its hair and send the little fella out to the big world. Good luck album. x
